2015 ROCKET ROADSTER
I have a new 2015 Phantom Black Rocket Roadster. Like most people I looked at pictures, watched videos, and read everything I could find on this terrific motorcycle. I've ridden and owned many different brands over the years, but I think what drew me to the Rocket was its uniqueness.

I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and although some folks think the Rocket is an ugly bloated beast, I have to disagree. It's styling may not appeal to everyone but I happen to like it with one major exception....those stupid looking orange turn signal lenses!!! Those had to go before I put mile one on the odometer. I found some smoke lenses with orange bulbs online and now I don't cringe any longer when I look at my own Rocket. (Triumph even put these same orange lenses on the "Blacked Out" Rocket X !!)

But hey....it's probably just me.... or do the orange lenses bother you too?

I agree, but i still have my oranges - but not for long.
I bought the smoke/grey lenses about a year ago.

I hated the orange lens so much I had a bloke custom make me some clear lens ,long before they were commercially available. Got smoked ones on mine now .. the old home-made clears are running around on someone's bike.. can't remember been so long.

I've been thinking of changing mine but haven't yet as in a way it's all part of its character.

A change is in the wind for my whole blinker set up , still got ideas binging round about how I want it to look .

The orange lenses blend in perfectly with the ugliness of the bike, ugly lenses and ugly bike why try to change the ugly look as they say you can slap make-up on a pig but it is still a pig.
With the two ugly and I mean ugly exhaust pipes and everyone gripes about four lenses?????????

3 out of 3 Rockets on a 2013 Tassie trip (Malcy's, TC's and mine) had smoked lenses.
Old pic; all three have different exhaust these days.
