Actually I'm welcome to discuss whatever I want, with or without your consent. If you don't like it, you go away. A normal person would have seen the humour in my comment, but of course, as I said, you'd need to be able to read (and be normal).

You are correct, you can say what ever you want. Based on your past response to me and some of your responses to others, I cannot find the humor in what you say. You appear to be combative, argumentative, antagonistic, condescending, and down right ignorant. Just an observation. So if your comment was meant to be funny, my bad for not recognizing that in you. Perhaps you should allow that part of your personality to be more noticeable to all of those that have found you to be condescending and negative. Especially towards the posts people have made about performance upgrades, exhaust changes, aesthetic changes and so on. Constructive criticism is a lot different that a negative condescending comment. Basically you get more with sugar than spice. So be nice to people and your negative persona will change and you will have a greater reputation on this forum. Just trying to help. That is why I joined this forum. I have received a ton of help from most of the members except you. So I hope this helps.

Hi, I live in Camb. and ride mostly in Vt, NH, and Maine, just got back from my Moosehead trip, yes I have an 05 grey, I try to not ride the X- way too much traffic,have ridden down to Lakeville and Ply.

Cool, if you are ever south of Boston on a ride let me know.

As soon as I finish off this last few sips of my second Starbucks I am Rocketing out of here too. But I have a beautiful sunny day that isnt all that hot for once.

Been trying to burn the last few ounces off of the original rubber before I go over to the Dark Side next week. I hae had this bike too long to still have the original rubber on it!

But I am lucky and have a few other bikes to juggle miles between. Actually, been trying to figure out which one to sell (three is a bit much). Its down to the Rocket or the HD and the HD is leading the "bout to be gone" pack. Riding them back to back the R3R is just better in so many ways. Yea, it requires a bit more muscle to get around on at slow speeds, but dat motor!

Keep the Rocket. I have a Softail Springer in my garage I haven't even sat on since the Rocket arrived in March. I just came back from a ride in the rain. I had made arrangements to meet a husband and wife couple from Phoenix that are traveling cross country on 07 and 11 Rockets. My wife and I had coffee, breakfast and listened to some good travel stories with them. Rain or shine the Rocket is a blast.

I totally agee there. Even with teh 96 kit on my '05 88 on the Road King the power is just pathetic, and the vibration is getting worse as it gets older. Then I get on the Rocket and it just purrs and pours out all that power. Truly addicting.

The only compaint I have ever had on the Rocket was the heat off the motor (but living in Texas heat is just a given) and the lack of storage. I put bags on and a rear fender rack for my dry bag. So that is somewhat taken care of. I need to finish the wiring for my hitch and get the trailer I bought refinished and tags for it so I can haul it behind the bike. Then long trips will be a breeze.

We just got back from a 170 mile jaunt today; rode with several friends over to JB Boondocks on Little Lake Harris in Lake County for lunch. We live on the west coast, so it makes for a nice ride on the back roads.

Since I still haven't found any other Rocket Captains around here; we ride with a Valkyrie riders club. Overall, very nice folk, and more pleasant to be around than some of the Hardley guys I've run across. There's actually one Harldey guy in the group; guess he likes riding with them better, too.

For the mileage counters; When I filled up with 170 on the clock; the gauge said I had another 45 miles to go before empty. The gas gauge showed 3/16ths of a tank left, and the low fuel light was on. It came on at 62 miles 'til empty.

Just came from a ride too...was hanging out with a few guys(2 vulcan and 1 softail), ofcourse i gotta be the sweeper, if not they say i am riding by myself, nobody would be able to keep up. Hey Rick lmk whenever you wanna hang out up here, i am pretty much down to ride anywhere.

Engine heat is a common issue for most bikes especially air cooled V-twins. I do enjoy the heat from the Rocket on cooler days. The people I met this morning have a 07 Rocket with Corbin beetle bags, good looking but they hate them because they leak terribly. The 11 R3R has LeatherLyke bags and they are bigger and dry. Iup. have a Tour Master tank bag and back rest bag on my R3R and it is enough for an overnight or sweatshirts when riding two.
