We have some empty places, here's one with my old bike.

Alright well the best thing about leaving Colorado is that I will never have to go through Kansas again. 2nd time riding through Kansas and 2nd time I found myself pulled off in an area huddled under a tarp. Was following a truck doing 35mph on the 65mph hwy. Soon I started having a hard time seeing their taillights. So pulled off. If I can't see the truck anymore, I know no one behind can see me anymore.

After the storm broke, I had 2 hrs of sunshine to dry off. Correcting yesterday's statement. Here is the middle of the United States.... well used to be.

And right after it.... one long straight road that I used to dry out. I wear a full face helmet, so I can't see the speedometer.

In 1984 I drove from Fort Carson, Colorado to Alexandria, Virginia and in Kansas if you came next to a semi the right to left wind was so bad that you would have to be careful not to be sucked up next to the semi and then you would go in the far left of the lane and dive/angle heavily to the right once you started getting to the front of the truck. just to stay in a straight line. It was brutal

Well officially done with f&#*ing off..... for now. Made it back to Colorado. 10 mins of being back here and some chick backed into the R3T. No damage. Just her plastic bumper hit the front crash bar. Lifted the bike up off the stand and dropped it back down on it when she took off. I was told by a gentleman that I handled it way better than he would've. But oh well, no more long riding for me till July. Moving and festivals till then.

And Kiwi.... I took advantage of of those long straight roads coming in. Opened it up to 110 and cruised.

well i hate saying this but there has been a couple of rockets that was being trailered with the kick stand down that broke the case where the kick stand is mounted so check that area really good for cracks and leaking. i hope that you are ok.

That's great you managed to let her rip for a while. Having some halfwit woman back into my bike would raise my blood pressure a bit, think I'd handle it more like the other bloke, as long as the bike is ok, I guess no harm done.

Thanks for the insight Turbo. I haven't seen any oil drips but I will check for cracks.

The problem I have with opening it up for a while is when you go back down to the actual speed limit range, it just feels to slow.
