Well as Outkast once said "You can paint a pretty picture, but you can't predict the weather." It has been blowing harder than $10 BJ night at the truck stop. The whole ride to the Grand Canyon I had to keep the scooter slightly tilted towards the cross wind. But here it is.... a grand hole indeed.

Awesome! The bike is looking remarkably clean for the trip it's doing, are you cleaning it at night? or is it just not dusty on those roads?
Yesterday it rained most of the morning and the camp ground had dirt roads. It had 20 lbs of mud/gravel packed up in the fenders by the time I got out of the camp ground. I had to wash it before hitting the road to the Canyon. It may be an R3T but it had the spirit of a Tiger getting out of there.

So if you ever find yourself in the Las Vegas area, pay the fee to enter Lake Mead. Take the Northshore Road. Like 60 miles of curves and a very suggestive speed limit. I would never encourage speeding. Even for a weekend, I never found myself behind anyone. Right outside of the North Entrance Gate is the road that takes you into the Valley of Fire. I cannot confirm that there were any fire bushes in the fire valley. I only saw unnaturally red dyed hair.
