Don't let 'em get you down, Dog. I think the best response from any rider to a car driver talking smack is to take the next turn and ride away (if the option is available). No matter how tough you are (or think you are) motorcycles don't win arguments with cars. Ride away and take pleasure knowing you left the other guy sitting in a cage.
Interesting comment DJ.
Through out my riding life I have always thought that if I am hit by a car, I would pursue this through the Courts.
The charge being "Assault with a deadly weapon"
If anyone in the Court system doubted me, I would put them on a M/C and I would get in a car, lets do it !

A couple of years ago, when I still smoked I was driving my mustang convertible (would that be considered more of a fence than a cage?) and stopped to grab some gas. I guess the thingy (sorry for the tech talk here) that cuts off the gas when the tank is full was broke because gas started flowing out of the tank. I thought I escaped getting gas on me when pulling out the hose but a while down the road I lit a cigarette and a spark from it hit my shirt and my sleeve just ignited! I stuck my arm out the window hoping the wind might put it out while I tried to pull over. A cop rolled up when I got stopped and I thought he was coming to help. Nope, busted me for waving around a firearm in public!
