I must have been buying all the wrong bikes because i just don't see 22K as super high for a big unique bike. If you buy new Harleys for a while the Triumph will appear cheap.
You forget the simple truth that motorcycles get less expensive as they age. A five to ten year old bike can be picked up for a song sometimes. Take the Triumph Rocket III for example.
I'm sure some metal/carbon genius will devise a nice looking full fender to cover the back wheel and get ride of the goofy mini fender/licence plate do dad.

While it may not be super high in today's crazy market, it is at or near the top for the genre.
Harley's entries into the power cruiser market (I know, I know) the 114 Low Rider S and 114 FXDR are at 18 and 19 thousand.
The base Diavel is $20,295, the base XDiavel is $20,995, the XDiavel S is way up there at $24,495.
My 2010 Roadster was $13,999.
It will be interesting to see how it does in the market place.
