as the tuneboy seems to be in use now, has anyone had any warranty issues with a dealer? I got indications it might affect the warranty if the company is contacted on a warranty issue.

Just burn the stock tune back in with Tuneboy before you bring it in for service... It depends on the dealer... I know car dealers don't get paid as much for labor from the factory for warranty work as they do from a customer... Some car dealers (and bike dealers) look for ways for it not to be a warranty repair... But if dealers are gonna sell you things like Jardines and not jeapordize your warranty, then why should Tuneboy???
