QUICK QUESTION---

Are they any better than standard plugs,:) or just b/s..;)

Thanks..:cool:

My experience with them on a different bike proved them to be all hype and zero noticeable upgrade or improvement over OEM plugs. I'd recommend that you spend your capital elsewhere, GRAMPY.

I've run my original OEM plugs 28,000 (45,000 km) miles and can say the same, but they cost 20-25% of the cost of iridium plugs and are just approaching the midpointof their lifespan.

Iridium plugs purpose is long life. Iridium plugs actually slightly reduce the strength of the spark because they have more resistance.

Don't waste your money. Not saying they're bad but they certainly don't offer anywhere near enough improvement, if any at all, to justify the huge price difference.

Thanks fer all the advise me ol' mates,--Always get good advise from yer's :thumbsup: .
I'm gonna get the standard ones coz after all, the difference in cash will allow Gampy and Grandma to eat this week-end:whitstling:
,coz we're down to our last £1,000,000.00p ;) .:laugh::laugh:..

Iridium plugs are a good idea for difficult access, for ex I have a old LS400 Lexus where changing the plugs is a major task. Other than that, in other bikes such as my Speedster i never noticed any difference. I'd save the do re me.
