Interesting read, further down

By their estimate it looks like roughly an 8 second quarter @ 160mph.

Jesus that's quick, and they look so calm and smooth doing it.

That thing is over 205 mph before shifting into 6th gear!
Wish my Rocket would hit top speed in its highest gear.

Fit a decent fairing and ride off a cliff in a death dive! ;):p:D

In stable, belly-to-earth position, terminal velocity is about 200 km/h (120 mph). Stable freefall head down position has a terminal speed of 240–290 km/h (around 150–180 mph). Further minimization of drag by streamlining the body allows for speeds in the vicinity of 480 km/h (300 mph).

Key words, "It would not be possible to put down 250 plus horsepower in the first 3 or 4 gears with out the electronics wizardry."
Made me chuckle.
One has to take into account that the combined weight of the MotoGP bike and (generally diminutive) rider will be less than an R3 dry. And their tail ends are light.

Yeah, absolutely it's crazy, especially with their short wheelbase.

I always wondered why the did power wheelies in 4th and 5th, it all makes sense now
