The insurance here in the U.K. doesn’t tend to go on class of bike, more on the capacity and where you live. If you live in a City, like London Birmingham etc. You can expect to pay a premium, because bike theft being prevalent there and **** drivers!

Weird, must be a British thing, I probably haven't taken the key out of the ignition a half dozen times in 15 years, not even when I go into Walmart. I've never heard of anyone I know getting a bike stolen.

It's mainly a large town & city thing.
Areas of high population always attracts more scumbags & that's what skews the statistics substantially.
