Finally got around to installing a handlebar from a Valkyrie on my ‘13 Touring. World of difference for my moderate sub-6 foot stature. The bar is about 1” narrower on each side so it doesn’t pull away from my grip in slow speed turns. Road a couple hundred miles today on curvy mountain roads with a passenger and I certainly feel more confident in the cockpit now. I don’t feel any loss of leverage either because the Rocket is so balanced to begin with.

Only issue is that the way the bars curve prevents me from being able to mount my tall and slightly wider touring windshield. So I will have to change the risers for ones with a bit of pull-back. The black tape and zip-tie on the brake hose banjo bolt are there to prevent scratching the windshield during install, which I learned about the hard way on my touring windshield right after finishing the Valkyrie bar install.

Here are a few pictures for posterity.

Look quite nice to me.

BTW, what did you do with the rest of the Valkyrie?

I only bought the bars from a salvage yard. I had a Valk until 2011 when I sold it. That was a hard day because it was such a great bike. Glad the Rocket is filling my fetish for non- V Twin muscle bike.
