One could also use a few ounces of marvel mystery oil or, a cheaper alternative is regular ATF. They are both pretty much the same ting and will clean and lubricate all the top end bits

For years i used Mystery Oil (Marvel)... i switched over to Seafoam it seems to do the job ...
