Carpenter bikes dont hold their value, my 240 with 9000 miles got 0 interest at $10k, i guess i will ride it until the wheels fall off:p
Buying a motorcycle is NOT buying its value... its what can you do with 10K. its a very simple thing that few seem to understand why "i know what i have" mentality never works.
 
Local HD dealership some guy traded this monster for a Tri-Glide....looks awesome r3 storm gt

Yeah, every time i wanna sell a bike and they low ball me because i know what i have, it has brought me to this situation😁

thats because you paid full retail or over a good deal. you can never sell a bike for more than you got it for... usually. so never buy anything unless its a steal of a deal. and that includes a carpenter kit... its not a deal so you will never be able to sell it otherwise.

Agreed. I know I'm going to lose my ass when/if I decide to part with my Carpenterized Roadster. That's gonna leave a mark for sure.
