Not been around for awhile after two engine failures on 2 different R3's, I have brought another motor for my 2007 R3 (The Black Rhino). Its good top see some familiar names from what seems like an eternity since I was last here.
Based in Western Australia an R3 is not a common bike on our roads, but with the miles that can be covered here it was made to be ridden in WA.
Hope to have a mechanical free ownership this time round.

Current Bikes are 1983 GS110G, 1877 CB750F, 1978 CB750F2 (both in bits) BMW R1200RT & and the soon to be resurrected 2007 R3 Phoenix (formerly The Black Rhino)

3 times lucky they say,I hope it turns out that way,I ran away screaming when my R3Ts gearbox Sh** it'self and bought a new Kawasaki 1400 GTR my son has thethe Touring and repaired it ,I ride it now and again and am watching if Triumph build another "big" bike and may be tempted, but love the GTR it's a keeper

Owned a GTR for a couple of years...great bike and does everything well! Just couldn't put the right grin on my face and found it spent more time in the garage. At the time I also owned a MT-01...now that's a grin machine. But very limited touring capabilities as there is not much luggage options.
Recently acquired the rocket...which does both very well...
