Bit of a PSA, on Facebook there a couple of R3R riders who have had their cam cover gaskets mysteriously develop a leak, all in exactly the same spot, and my bike did it too.
Between cylinder 1 and 2 on the exhaust side, all the bikes had the same development, looks like a little bit of gasket got pushed out and partially settled there leading to a slow weep. Put 2 and 2 together, I remember reading a post here about some one refitting the cam cover then checking the bolts after one heat cycle finding they were loose, but had been torqued properly.
Best guess, the bolts torque down, the first heat cycle the gasket conforms a bit to the head and cover, and the bolts are no longer tight.
Most likely cause....Triumph balling up the rubber gasket and shoving it in an envelope so it has all kinds of bends and twists that won't relax without heat applied.
