Any tricks on adjusting theidle. Just got it back up and running . Power Tripp gave me a new map , and works great. Only thing is I have a 2000 RPM idle.
Can not seem to find anything in the manual. Tried to let it run for awhile ,no luck.

Russ you got PC3, 5, Tuneboy, or tuneECU?
I would say "or dobeck" but nobody has one of them except me I guess.

Wayne fixed me up with a tune ecu. Did a bit of a test ride. If I cabn get the idle down I am ready to go.

Go into tests in TuneECU. Go thru the reset ISCV

I have Tune Boy but I bet its the same method only tune ecu has you refer to crap in the manual where as tune boy walks you right thru it step by step on the computer screen. The Full ISCV reset incorporates both Throttle position sensors with the idle stepper motor. It basically gets them all in synch with the ecu. And resets the engine adaptive stored in the ecu.

Kinda complicated but it turns out the water temp sensor has to be replaced. Because my ECU was disconnected for so long it went back to default. To readjust it I needed to run the 12 maint. My sensor would not turn the fan on . I tried to jump around it, which worked. Because the sensor was not having a input the ECU would not adjust. Using the Tune ECU I found the sensor to be bad. All of this sounds crazy but when you step back it has some logic.
According to Walter everything must be hooked up and working to all the 12 min calibration to work.

This is weird as I took my ECU out of the bike in August last year and did not lug it back in until March yet my sensor did not go bad infact it works as always. Not saying your sensor is not bad just saying its not from being unplugged. Just think of how long some of the Rockets sit in a crate makes you wonder if they have a battery in them the whole time or not. I bet you could still find some old ones in the crate. I think you should check and clean all connection nds on the sensor and the plug in the harness the senor plugs into maybe some corrosion is keeping it from sending a signal.

Just some thoughts as I am not a electrician.
