I should have got a Harley

I remember 25 years ago arguing with a 1%er that'd said..all Jap bike riders are wankers .. pointed out that a guy can own a Jap bike thursday , trade it friday on a HD and suddenly he's no longer a wanker following his thinking. A few of blokes i started riding with have stayed with Jap bikes for the last 30+ years..they aren't wankers. Seems as time has passed the reverse has taken place ... more wankers riding Harleys nowdays than ever before. Silly to blame the bike brand because of the cockhead that owns it .. just my opinion of course

The one thing a Harley has is the sound. Can't match that sound. But then they don't sound like my Rocket wound up either.

That may be one of the reasons a lot of people that do not know any better 'think' that Harleys are the most powerful bikes out there.

At only 65 horsepower, I am surprised Harleys potato, potato sound is so addictive to Harley owners.

They make more power and torque than you might think! My 07 Street Glide with exhaust, cams, air cleaner and a tuner pulled hard. They have a very linear torque curve. I could roll on from 85MPH in 6th gear and pull to 110MPH in a heart beat. Ride a modified one sometime. Stock ones are slow. Will they beat a Rocket? Of course not. But they ain't as slow as you think!
