I should have got a Harley

Yea that would be me on the sport bike! Minus the "Rap crap" and the wheelie! I owned a Harley bagger. My wife still rides a Harley bagger. If ya want to go drink in the bars, chase women and get into bar fights, well just go for it! :D Not my thing. I like my Rocket and will putt a "ass whipping" on those Harley's! But they do make some nice bikes!

I just sold my 09 ultra to a buddy it is his birthday today and his wife bought it foor him i now have nooooo hds in the stable so no more oil leaks on the floor:D:eek:

Truth is i was never short of pretty young things that wanted to go for rides on my bikes ... BMW's ... Harleys ... and now the Rocket. Never actually happened like in that bull**** add though ... random supermodel types lurking around on corners waiting for a bike to come along. Besides most HD riders nowdays are middleaged goofy-looking accountant types that dress up like quasi-outlaws on weekends ... i was watching a few of them swaggering around the swap-meet yesterday. Can't help but laugh !!!

Harley's are beautiful and sound great but it stops there for me.

Overpriced and poor quality.
If I were to buy one it would be a very old classic.
I'm not into the ****** rockets either but I like to watch those guys that know their bikes.

I love my R3 and dont plan on trading it for ANYTHING.

That commercial just might make bikers want to sell their Harleys! About 15 years ago, a friend of mine sold his Harley back to the dealer for what he paid for it. He basically rode it two years for free. (a lot of Harley advocates still like to claim it's that way today, but that ship sailed a long time ago) He sold it because they were getting popular with the yuppie weekend riders. He was going to replace it after the "fad" wore off. Tragically, he was killed in his pick-up at an unguarded RR crossing a couple after that. So, all of these years later, it doesn't look like the fad is going to go away anytime soon!

Harleys are what they are ... they will always be the bike of choice for those wanting to look' totally badass' ... sad but just the way it is. Know that Harleys are one bike you don't have to ride hard to enjoy .. just cruising on them is enjoyable. That being said i love my Rocket .. is the best ' do everything ' bike i've ever owned. Punt them through the twisties , travel in comfort and truth is i get way more compliments on the Rocket than any other bike i have ever owned .. bar none.
