I may be stupid................

I'm sure you're going to like the backrest Jim.
It is almost impossible to pull the ring if you have fat fingers and especially with bags fitted. I made a loop with a cable tie but then used another tie to attach it, snigged up tight. Sits the same as the original loop so doesn't touch the paint.

I dont know how I missed the keyhole on the bottom of the side cover! Even after Lupe told me where to look I still crawled around the bike twice before I found it........o_O
I think I'm gonna like it too, I havent had a chance to try it yet though, with Exorcist boy spewing out green liquids from both ends I've been a little busy......:sick:

Seems to be a lot of sick puppies in my neck of the woods too... Stupid is as stupid does something like that. Doesn't mean you can't have fun doing it...;)

Went to college for 4 years just to learn how to remove a seat from a rocket, i graduated last week, glad i was able to use my knowledge today:D
not to many people know this but he was kicked out of school in the tenth grade for having sex with a teacher (then I found out he was home schooled)

But my friends are not!! :)

Home from work today taking care of a sick child, I decided to install the riders backrest on my Roadster, (I mean really how hard could it be?)

After walking around my bike for an hr, and pulling that plastic ring a hundred times I came to the conclusion that I didn't know how to remove my seat :mad:o_O:oops:

So I came up with a brilliant idea.... Ask Lupe!

I sent him a text and he replied within 5 minutes and Wa La!

He also mentioned something about hating me cuz he was awaiting a blizzard while I was getting ready to go for a ride in 68 degree weather :whitstling:

I'm sure he didn't mean it........:p

Nice!

That looks just like a Corbin seat I saw today.

A guy bought it, never put it on, and is asking $150.00 US for it.

Think it'll fit on my R3R OK?

Thanks,

Rick

It's actually the Triumph Long Haul seat, unfortunately I have no idea whether the Corbin will fit of not, there are many here that will know though.

Hey RKTNMYPKT, I noticed the bags on your ride. They look like Leatherworks with Easy Brackets. You wouldn't happen to have a side shot of the bike with them in place would you?

Much appreciated.
