But my friends are not!! :)

Home from work today taking care of a sick child, I decided to install the riders backrest on my Roadster, (I mean really how hard could it be?)

After walking around my bike for an hr, and pulling that plastic ring a hundred times I came to the conclusion that I didn't know how to remove my seat :mad:o_O:oops:

So I came up with a brilliant idea.... Ask Lupe!

I sent him a text and he replied within 5 minutes and Wa La!

He also mentioned something about hating me cuz he was awaiting a blizzard while I was getting ready to go for a ride in 68 degree weather :whitstling:

I'm sure he didn't mean it........:p

Going to be -20 here in the morning, -55 expected wind chill. 68 sounds pretty ****ed good. After the first of the year I when vacation time is available I might have to put the bike on the trailer and head south to ride.
Suffering real bad from PMS ... parked motorcycle syndrome.

Ditch the rear ring-pull thingo .. don't need it, been running around for years with just the main underseat catch mate.

Went to college for 4 years just to learn how to remove a seat from a rocket, i graduated last week, glad i was able to use my knowledge today:D

I hope it wasn't a two week course.....:roll::roll::roll::roll::laugh::x3:
Sorry mate ----- That one was wide open.....

Might have to give that a go, I've got a cable tie on the ring so i can get my big mitt on it and its leaving a mark on the paint from bouncing around

I'm sure you're going to like the backrest Jim.
It is almost impossible to pull the ring if you have fat fingers and especially with bags fitted. I made a loop with a cable tie but then used another tie to attach it, snigged up tight. Sits the same as the original loop so doesn't touch the paint.
