I emailed the dealership to make an appointment for the 6k service. I asked him if he could also change out the stock derby cover for the one that has the Thunderbird logo at the same because I assume they have to pull the cover to check the primary drive. I've assumed all this time that it's chain driven. I got a response within 30 minutes (we have a good dealer here) from the owner saying "No problem, bring it in first thing and we'll take care of it. But, we don't *have* to take the cover off as the primary is gear driven".
