I hadn't gone so far as to research and find out what dogs they are, that's disappointing. If I add to my oddball cruiser collection, then it'll probably be a later model Guzzi California*.

Then all I'll have to buy is some red suspenders.

*Still really want an Excelsior Henderson Super-X.

My first Guzzi. Waited 44 years to find it. Really rides and handles exceptionally well. Just wish it had some top end power. 2008 Brava 1200 Sport.

Bought a used 1998 R1200c BMW in 2001. Still have it and love it. Never had any issues with it that so many say it is prone to. Mine is modified with R1150 throttle bodies, GS cams and R1100 Motronic. Dyno'ed just under 100 HP. Even before I did that I had it hooked to my Escort sidecar and it tugged it around fine. Yes the looks you either love or hate but I have heard that said about The Rocket also.
