I feel dirty and ashamed.

The bikes just so smooth , that's what impressed me. My mates Rocket dyno'd at 208 BHP but it's nowhere near as smooth and rideable as Ponters bike is. The knowledge Neville Lush has in designing and manufactoring well-matched components makes all the difference. A 250 BHP Rocket that rides like a stocker until you crack it on ..3,500 -4,000 revs is like hitting a power-band , awesome torque.

hey tc...just found my dyne...torques is 274 between 4500-6500. restricted to not go over 7k rpm as im a conservative fella and like to be mechanically sympathetic.

Make sure you experience the 4500-6500 mark, just make sure your not carrying a pillion and holding on, that torque is ferocious. let me know your honest thoughts mate...i wont be offended as it is enough for me but would love to know what ya reckon.

Im at the office as im taking the morning off to take my kids to the royal melbourne show so if i dont respond im out of range.

Cheers lads!

Mate to be honest i wouldn't ride another blokes bike that hard .. it's more bike than i'll ever need. Really interested in the Wilbers and how they work. I know your bike is capable of pulling your "arms out of their sockets" as they say. Can only imagine how it pulls if you gave it to it through the gears. Reckon your face would look like a skydivers in freefall

well the wilbers work like this....leave the front as they are as they are perfect but feel free to adjust the rear as as soon as i get the bike next week it will be going to ASR for a spring change and complete new setup.

starting at the top you have 2 screws which are vertically aligned. the top one is for low speed compression and the bottom screw is high speed compression. These have equal settings available and can be adjusted independently. The top screw = low speed = squat control. the bottom = high speed = wallow through fast corners.

at the base there is a red dial. this red dial is the rebound which gives you your traction and control. if you are standing on the right side of the bike looking at the bike and you turn the bottom dial toward the front of the bike this will make it harder turning toward the back makes it softer.

The only thing to remember is that each click makes a fair difference and i cant remember now but i think there are about 18 clicks in all adjustments. to get the clicks right turn it all the way out remembering THE LAST CLICK CANT BE FORCED!!!! As soon as you feel there are no more clicks back it off and that first resting click is 0. The final thing is that although you can adjust the high and low speed compression independently never exceed more than 6 or 7 clicks difference between the 2. As far as left to right although the motorsport guys argue that on a track you can have unequally compression for turn biased tracks, i NEVER run them different from left to right.

As far as rebound goes you can wind it right down but depending on the road you are on you might get a bit of a pogo stick sensation going on. The springs are pretty heavy so shouldn't be to bad but see how you go.

As afar as taking it through the gears and ripping your arms out...just lean into it if your abs will hold its fun! If you see christmas tree lights in your mirrors tell them you name in Angela Ponters...(my sister-in-law) she's got full points! LOL

Or i could just take the Speedy on the PackRats ride ... if it don't pissdown rain as they are predicting  ..... I reckon the rear shocks should be ok two-up with a classic seat. I won't screw around with'em mate..don't really know what im doing
