Yessir, risers really make a difference don't they. I went as far as I could go without having to change out the cables or brake line, and laid the tilt on the bars as far down as I could without them touching the tank. That gave me just a tiny tad more to bring the grips as close as possible to me. It didn't make a huge difference, just squeezed as much as could out of them. When the forks are locked, the wiring loom just grazes the tank. It's been like that now for around 16 months and hasn't scratched anything yet. (knock on wood)
Gives it a sleek look with the low profile Kuryakin oval mirrors when the windscreen is removed, the tach and speedo almost look like the highest point on the bike that way.

That is the description of how I have them mounted exactly. I can now actually see my ignition switch betwen the fairing and the guages which I have not been able to do since I bought the bike new. I bought it and did not pick it up until the Fleetliner fairing and beetle bags were installed so I always had to feel for the ignition switch, and don't start on me about the ignition relocation kit. Ready to Rock (et) now.

Ha...........wait until you get the back rest....You will wonder how in the hell you ever rode without one:eek:
Ime glad you like the risers....sure does make riding that much more enjoyable:D
