I'M 53 YRS OLD AND BOUGHT THIS NEW R3R AND OF COURSE I FEEL LIKE A LITTLE KID WITH A NEW TOY. IT FEELS GOOD TO GET UP IN THE MORNIG KNOWING I GOT THIS THING PARK OUT FRONT AND JUST RIDING AROUND FOR NO GOOD REASON AND REALLY NO WHERE TO GO. WHEN WILL A PERSON LOOSE INTEREST IN THIS WHOLE MOTOCYCLE THING.WILL I REGRET BUYING THIS THING A YEAR FROM NOW I WONDER.

I can't imagine anyone aged 75 riding around on a red (proper colour) Rocket with a hair dryer and internals and grinning like an idiot. What sort of fool would do that??

53 ain't nothing. I'm happy as hell you bought, not just a bike, but a real bad ass bike at age 53. Shows you're far from slowing down. Go ride that sum *****...but remember, if you experience an erection for more than 4 hours, well, just keep riding!!!!

I'm 65. Had a VTX1800 before the rocket, A Valkyrie before that and a Goldwing before that. Just depends on your health I guess.

Plenty of us older than you on here. Ruzzle's was just kidding. He IS the sort of fool that would not just be riding a Rocket at 75 but one of the fastest around - yes, blown and worked. Silly bugger! Were still hopeful he'll grow up one day.

The problem i have is my thought process hasn't aged with my body I'm the same age as you. I've been in the construction business since i was sixteen. Working with guys half my age keeps me from thinking about how old i really am. I sold my Busa when i hit 59 it just got too uncomfortable to ride. You can say what you want about Harleys but they are easy to ride and the Rocket is just a Harley on steroids. Let those young bucks have their day they'll all end up riding cruisers some where down the line.To answer the question as long as you have your health the skys the limit.

69 & still riding the hell out of my R3R...and 4 other "little" bikes. Actually, my Vic XCT is bigger (longer & heavier) than the R3R but a LOT less motor.

You are never to old, as long as you can get it off the kick stand, unless you have the landing gear install, then even after that...
