First, don't twist the throttle. The TPS depends on the throttle being in the full untwisted position to code the ECU.
When the temps drop below 50 or so, I will hit the starter for about 2 seconds and release. This breaks up a lot of the cold oil friction and also gets some fuel mixture into the system. I then hit the starter again and usually it fires immediately.
If the temps drop below 35, I will add the key cycle to the routine. Turn the key on, let the needles sweep, turn off the key. Repeat once more. Starter for 2 sec. Starter again and she fires right up.
I also run the Oddessy PC625. I use a Black & Decker smartcharger if it really gets cold for an extended time.
