You may want to re-tune since you have more air flow. Only if you notice it running rough, coughing or popping. Some fuel injected bikes you can simply disconnect the battery and the computer will recalibrate. I have no idea if this will work on the Rocket.
you sure didn't procrastinate on that decision very long.
OR
did you and just not mention it?
Didn't want another 10 pages of advice confusing the issue?
Just went for it huh counselor?
I'm PROUD of ya Fish.
Do the 12 minute tune as suggested and let us know how you like it.
He was talking about it in Maggie Valley. He posted something on here a while back but I think he didn't get much response.
Anyway, Fish, I really want to hear it. If it sounds good and doesn't effect performance negatively, I might do it too.

I haven't gone too far, but the only difference I've noticed is a deeper louder sound, no coughing or popping so far...maybe in the mountains. I'll have to remember how to do that 12 minute tune, I think you let it idle until the fan comes on and then wait 12 minutes.
You know the touring baffle is on a slant and it took a bit to get through, but I didn't feel a plate behind the outside metal, but maybe I did go through a plate, not sure. My Honda Shadow ACE pipe was flat and I put big holes in that one...being careful here, but performance not affected thus far.
