you sure didn't procrastinate on that decision very long.
OR
did you and just not mention it?
Didn't want another 10 pages of advice confusing the issue?
Just went for it huh counselor?
I'm PROUD of ya Fish.
Do the 12 minute tune as suggested and let us know how you like it.

Now Skip, are you suggesting your decision-making process is better than mine? I beg to differ, my friend.

He was talking about it in Maggie Valley. He posted something on here a while back but I think he didn't get much response.
Anyway, Fish, I really want to hear it. If it sounds good and doesn't effect performance negatively, I might do it too.

Call me and I'll start er up for ya. Remember, I'm techno illiterate.

Just drilled 4 small holes in each of my Rocket III Touring stock pipes. Get a bit of a louder, deeper sound now. Fish

Ok, 4 wasn't quite enough, so I've drilled 6 small holes in each pipe now, 3 up top and 3 on the bottom. She sounds like a beast now! Gonna give her a test ride.

Fish,
my decision making capabilities are slightly "off".
theres them 35 years of smoking my brains out,
compounded with leaving 60% of my brain mass in the celler of a cooling tower in Lake Charles, Louisiana some years ago.
Nope, no question you've got the best decision making capabilities my friend.
I was just amazed it was an announcement instead of a procrastination..

What are you trying to accomplish by drilling holes in the stock exhaust? Are you looking for better performance or just more noise? If you're looking for performance, a very admirable pursuit in my opinion, why not go with an aftermarket exhaust? And, are you drilling into the muffler baffle, or the catalytic converter which site in the front part of the muffler?

Not trying to be critical, just curious.....

Thanks? Well, first I announced 4 holes, now I'm announcing 6. I know Mr. Duke appreciates it. He's waiting to see if my bike falls apart...so far so good.
