Then its time to notch the end so we can have a 90 degree turn on round tube...i dont bother with all these fancy notching machines just a common old starret hole jobbie and iff used right we can achieve perfectly square ends like this prior to me welding them tomorrow..stay tuned

Ok guys..you know when sometimes too much thinking can lead you away from the agenda that you originally wanted to stick to well this happened today. I acquired a pair of generic pegs and the fact i got them cheap totally steered me from my course which was to be OEM looking as possible..not to complicated in its design..and not hang out like a fishing trawler each side of the bike..soooo the 90 degree fabrication never looked right, neither did the blingy chinese foot pegs and held on with a U bracket which i hated so after mucho tea and head scratchin this is the end result..I wanted them in satin black to match the OEM frame colour..i then re-used my pillion pegs which look like triumph made them imho and most of all they dont hang out to far and give me that classic legs wide open look which i hate on a cruiser and it also kills any chance of traffic filtering...i like very much and after taking the bike out today gives a lot more relaxed ride when using the pegs... All without using crash bars cos i hate them on bikes and all without giving Mr Triumph over £400 for highway pegs and fitting kit..
