Paul Hyland - Naw you didn't ruin my day I felt that I got a good deal and thats what counts. I figure something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Happy with the deal, happy with the bike, Life is Good.

Joined a time ago and finally decided to say HI, I have a 06 RIII Classic Red and New England White. I have to say I was smitten the first time I saw a picture of the RIII and then it was love at first sit.
This bike is everything that I have wanted, just like a women , looks good, fast, gives you that tingly feeling, and put a grin on you face.
I do have to add that she does not care if you ride another.

I'm missing the boat again. Welcoma aboard. My favorite color and I could give a **** if it's faster or not. It's classy.

SideCar
I went to your page and looked at your clamps, very nice workmanship, soon as I can manage to divert some money they will be on by machine, keep up the great work.

Hey Chief watch out for his stuff cause he spit polishes em and may leave some dribble. You got a good deal now if I could just see how the tourer looks without the bags, a regular tank, and gauges I might get me one.

Paul, yes I use SS bolts with aluminum parts. It will eventually start to corrode the alu due to dissimilar corrosion. Idealy you could use a alu bolt/screw and this would not be a problem. You could also coat the SS bolt with a corrosion pereventive compound ie: CorBan (buy at boat shops). I prefer SS and using a preventive CorBan, grease, etc. You could even use the blue loc thight which will provide some protection.
P.S. The map did not work.
