Hey Chief watch out for his stuff cause he spit polishes em and may leave some dribble. You got a good deal now if I could just see how the tourer looks without the bags, a regular tank, and gauges I might get me one.
 
Paul, yes I use SS bolts with aluminum parts. It will eventually start to corrode the alu due to dissimilar corrosion. Idealy you could use a alu bolt/screw and this would not be a problem. You could also coat the SS bolt with a corrosion pereventive compound ie: CorBan (buy at boat shops). I prefer SS and using a preventive CorBan, grease, etc. You could even use the blue loc thight which will provide some protection.

I was just checking sheesh. I was going suggest not using carbon steel with aluminum but i see there is no point in that now.
 
header bolts

paul,
you got any recommendations for header bolts? i've been taking exhaust systems off and on a few times and was wondering what to go with to prevent galling if i can. i was thinking of never sieze, but don't know if it will hold up to the heat. thanks.
