Hi from Moscow, Russia

Mavreg, welcome from West Michigan USA ! As others have said I think you'll find the Rocket to be a big aggressive beast to everyone but you. It will mind you and keep you out of trouble if you respect it. It will have way more horsepower and twice the torque of your CBF. It wont be as nimble, but will surprise you what it can do. I'd say go for it ! How is it you speak (well, type anyway) very good English ?

As far as Lane splitting is concerned , I find the road presence of the rocket commands respect ! Many drivers give you space when they see you in their mirrors , often to see what the growling beast is coming up behind in their rear view . I have carved down many a bank holiday jam , whereas when riding my Busa traffic would close up to prevent filtering . Then I would have to elbow their wing mirrors off ! :p :)

Hey Mavrek .
The rocket roadster WILL change your motorcycling life for sure ! Would be interested in knowing how many Rockets are in Russia ? There is also the fact that this must , without doubt be the best and most informative motorcycling forum in the entire world ! From learning all there is to know about the bikes , to pyromaniac birds in Australia , to the best fizzy drink in Scotland . We have it all here ! :)
Well, there are quite a few Rockets to be seen in Moscow and St.Petersburg. Russia's most popular car and motorcycle sale website (www.auto.ru) offers at the moment 34 pre-owned Rockets for sale. There are two offical Triumph dealerships in Moscow.

Welcome from New Zealand, buy it , you wont regret it. Make sure you avoid those dodgy/insane Lada drivers we all see on car crash TV.
 you get those shows too ? Our car crash TV is always showing crazy Kiwi women writing off their mens Datsuns ! ;)

Don't forget the Drop Bear illumination.

I gave my R3R a fistfull of throttle last week out of a corner , it was 3am and had rained a couple hours earlier , the road was greasy as a pigs arse. The rear end got real loose and what many would consider out of shape, i didnt panic and rolled the throttle off easily, this bought the rear end back where it should be. These bikes are as for giving as any other bike, more so than some , its the way you ride it that brings ppl undone, the main thing to be cautious of with a rocket is the way it accelerates and that has gotten me out of a bad situation more than putting me into one.
