Some family is heading to the Outer Banks tomorrow. They know it's going to be rough the first day....I am hoping the bridge don't wash out again, but there's more than one way to get out there. I have to stay home and be available for work. Might be a good thing. At least I can walk around the house in my BVD's! Eat food and slurp beer!

Got the roof done today so Hermine can test it

Never came any where near me in fact I did not even get a drop of rain from it.
Roof looks good Scott did you use peel and seal or plain old tar paper?
30lb felt on the steep pitch peel and seal on the lower pitches. 5500 ring shanked nails to nail every tongue and groove plank to the rafters. 4000+ roofing nails on the 16 square of shingles. And I brought my nephew down took him thru withdrawl off heroin an sent him home to his family 51 days without the needle. I think I am tuckered out. Might have to go back to Illinois to rest for a couple weeks and then back down to plaster. Winter is better down here anyway. The wifey does not know I gutted the dinning room and one of the bathrooms and thru them in the 20 yard dumpster to make sure I got my moneys worth and a place to hide for the winter:D

I was hoping to get some much needed rain out of it but just got a drizzle. The bands of it just missed me. I mean like a couple of miles or so then headed away!!
