I am Alinus 65 , Italian guy.
Today I tried to upload full power map 20352-2 on my R3R2010.
I followed the procedure. I download and saved the original map.
I started to upload the new map but the bar bacame red and did not move anymore.
I tried few timed to swich off and on the power and the computer.
The program is sayng that the ECU is connetted but it cannot load the map. It is proposing to restore the map but after ginign OK it appears "restoring failed".

Any suggestion is more than welcome.

ciao

Some times you have to do a recover from failed down load several times before it comepltete it. The tuneboy will let you know when it complets and when you may now down load a tune into it. It sounds to me as if you have not seen the window pop up that says recovery complete you must now down load a tune.

Hope this helps

make sure you are in slow down load mode and that you battery is up and head light fuse pulled out to save the battery.

Hi,

Which TuneECU version do you use?

finally i was able to load map 20352-2.
I reset TPS.

I have seen that now fuel tank signal is giving as full (it is really half).
Anything can I do to solve this problem.

Ciao

This is normal, drive a few miles and after a few miles, the fuel level again properly.
The same happens when the T-dealers a new map on the ECU loads.

ALYNUS 65, IF YA HAVE A CORD, HOOK YOUR GPS UP TO YOUR COMPUTER AN YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE EXACT MAP YA NEED FROM THERE, ITS ALOT EASIER AN SAVES A HELL OF ALOT STRESS.....:p

warp you the man but,

He's got a rocket 3 roadster i believe, and they are different in the fusebox area! DONOT REMOVE THE FUSE 4 THE HEADLIGHTS!

this fuse is needed to reload a map into a roadster!

earlier models have a separate fuse for the headlights, the roadster uses that fuse for something in the computer, and WONT load a new map without it. (you can get a map out without the fuse tho)

(got a roadster myself and had to ring a triumph dealer/mech to tell me this)

i bought the battery charger (optimate) and connected it to the bike during install of the map with all fuses intact and it went in at first try.

hope this helps

ok, during my recent move,
i've misplaced my cable.
Lupe can testify my new place isn't quite organized yet,
as we like to have never found the right tools today.
ANYWAY,
does anybody have the link or part number, or an e-bay link,
for the right cable to hook the bike and computer up?
i really want to learn this TuneECU at RAA at some point,
and now I need another cable.
thanks guys,
