I have just spent the best part of a morning trying to get these bastard things into my wheel via the valves to no avail

The instructions say it's doable but I'm f*@**@d if I can  even tried removing the valve centre and vibrating the thing.

Any tips will be most welcome

dyna beads

Thats strange I had no problem at all.
Are you using the applicator bottle and using an electric palm sander or engraving pen to vibrate it in?
At the same time you need to also pump squeeze the bottle.

Yep, valve at 6 o'clock, vibration, all with no result

If the tire is off the bike take it to a tire shop and have them break the bead on one side of the tire and just pour them in. Then just air the tire back up. It takes me about 40 minutes to put them in through the valve stem.

I had the same problem I gaVE up and broke the bead and poured them in. Just be carfule no to get any on the bead as it will be hard to reseal

I don't recall the name of the brand of balance beads I used in my tires. My Dad used them in his Goldwing and said they went in easy. Supposedly they are smaller than Dyna beads. Anyway, I tried for half an hour and don't think I got any in. My Dad got all three ounces in the tire in fifteen or twenty minutes! He did both tires in al little over half an hour using a piece of vinyl hose and a bottle. He would kinda tap the valve stem and squeeze the bottle short and fast. I can't get them in, will have them put in by the tire tech next time or replace the valve stems for ones with a larger through hole.

To the guys that put them in through the valve, did you get them in with the valve core still in and the tyre inflated or did you do something different?

If you go through the valve stem you have to take the core out and deflate the tire. Pour them in very slowly. The 90 degree valve stem makes it almost impossible to put them in.

You may have a static charge in those beans? Spread them out on something/paper, and them put your hand on them or any other way you can think you to discharge that harmless charge.
