Ok, I was giving the girl a good cleaning and polish after changing the oil and found some initials on the tank, front, under the seat. They were in the same gold as the pinstripe, but look to be freehand. They are SC. Enlighten me, guys...what do they mean?

They should be the initials of the guy/gal who pinstriped your bike. All Triumph's with pin strips have "hand-painted coach lines".. :) Pretty neat, huh? I don't know if they all have initials though. I don't remember initials on my Thunderbird Sport.

Man, that is really cool. They do a fantastic job pin striping. The lines are perfect. Whoever SC is, they are great at their job!

I saw an article somewhere on it with a film clip of tanks being pin striped. They showed a girl there and she was whipping them out quick! I can't remeber where I saw that though.

Yes, I believe Triumph does all of their pin stripping by hand. Not only is the tank signed but the rear fender on mine has initials on it also.
