It is because when I ordered the classic bar kit it came with a longer brake line.

Just for you I pulled out the tape and it is 5/8 of and inch longer than standard. Since your in MD you probably don't need the metric conversion of 2.54 centimeters to an inch. 1.5875 centimeters longer.

Had them side by side when I put the classic ones one. Not much of a difference, about 1/2inch 1cm.
