Help on tank storage

I have a brand new gas tank I want to install on my Rocket, this winter when there's less good riding weather. What's the best way to store it until then? I think if I do nothing, rust will start to form inside. Thanks.

Spray the inside with WD-40. Wrap it and keep it dry.

You live in Arizona so I will assume fairly low humidity in the winter. I vote for cosmoline. And don't wrap it. You could cause moisture to accumulate.
