Standards from 04- 09 had forward mounted pegs. Classics had boards. The Roadster was introduced in 2010 and had the pegs moved back and down. It's a much more girlie set up. ;)

Hello Rick and welcome from Virginia. My dealer here shipps bikes all over the US and to Austrailia and Canada that I have heard about.I beliebe they have a great deal on a 2014 R3R right now. PM me if you would like their info.

A welcome from the UK. I believe it was 2010 when the footrest were moved on the roadster and
2013 when the restriction was removed in the first 3 gears.
That's my understanding of things too.

G'day and welcome. Definitely worth checking the dealers - especially at this time of year when they are hungry and the floor-plan charges are mounting.

Welcome to the site from New Jersey, Rick.

No doubt that you'll be among the ranks of fellow Rocket III Captains come Springtime!

You just cant help yourself Richard.
Dont worry Rick, Richard has ABS envy:p:D:D:p

Raask has a peg relocation kit that moves the while foot controls back so you are sitting like you would a sport bike.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me and all the info.

@Gregger The link/bike you posted is also advertised on kijji.ca, I contacted him last week to express interest but he was rude (I have no idea why), scratched him from my list. Also I want a naked bike so the accessories have no value to me. Seem like once you get a rocket there's no letting go!

@Boog It’s my understanding with the current spread on USD vs CAD dollar the saving of importing a bike to Canada is not worth the trouble.
