Hello Yukonjim and welcome from Virginia. Upset to hear your Panhead was stolen, I realy dispise thieves. But glad you got another ride especially this one. I have a '14 R3T and about to roll over 32,000 miles soon. I've loved every mile of too. Just checked the map and see it's only a 2.5 day ride from McCarthy to Stugis (unless you need to sleep); The bike will do it with ease...

Just bought a 2014 touring model, last bike was a 1948 Panhead which was stolen. Looking forward to put miles on ne R3 touring.

Welcome from sunny Southern California! Sorry about your Panhead... wouldn't think it would be that hard to find the their all the way out there if they're riding it. Spent some time in Tok a few years back. Good luck with the mosquitos!

Welcome Yukon Jim! I don't post as often as others but usually lurk here everyday as like the others, I love riding the Rocket. I am from Anchorage and don't see very many Rockets in this part of the world. I rode out to Whitehorse last summer and greatly enjoyed that area of Canada...planning another trip for next summer.
