Good to have you here. I just dropped $2500.00 (today) on my 98 Dodge tranny for a complete overhaul. Not a big deal except I dropped the same amount on the same truck 2 years ago for the same thing. The shop that originally did the work really butchered it up and they insisted I use only "ASE" service to repair any problems since they were ASE certified (and 500 miles away). They didn't get it right and it didn't last more than 500 miles (the distance from their shop to my door). This time round I had a local guy do it that will eat the cost of re-doing it for the next 2 years and unlimited miles.
