Head Swap

I believe so. It worked perfectly. The camshaft bearing shells from my original case were the correct size and everything!

Just curious, was this resultant from having no engine guards?

UPDATE:
I made the 6 hour trip to pick the engine up. It looks fine... I dont think there's anything wrong with the engine at all. But I'll have to pull it apart to make sure, obviously. I should have taken pictures of it. And shipping it to Hawaii cost A LOT more than I thought. Still worth it, though.

AANNNDDD, I picked up some special tools. $100 for all three:

Just guessing because I bought the complete Transmission and clutch out of it. and Slick Rick from Perth has the crankshaft. Good find on he tools the cam tool is that expensive. I have never used the liner tool as one Triumph Tech told me it was a hit or miss tool if the rubber did not grip well the the liner stayed. I pull my liners with brake cleaner and duct tape

What did they charge you for shipping?

Also, where's the best place to get rebuild kits through? I know bikebandit has them, but they're a bit pricey sometimes.

Also I have never seen a complete engine kit gasket wise. I just ordered what I needed depending on what I was going to do. If I am pulling the head well then clutch cover gasket, head gasket, head bolts unless you buy special custom bolts. If I am changing pistons and not pulling the engine well then I add a sump gasket to the mix. Things like cam cover, water pump gaskets are rubber so most of the time I can re-use them. even the sump gasket some times. If I am not splitting then I do not need the gaskets in the back like the alternator gasket or the output drive.
so other then the O-rings for the oil tank (possibly re-usable) the tensioner gasket. and exhaust port gaskets I think I name them all. I have to ponder on it a while
