You guys must live nearer the rubber trees ?
I have hunted for months and £160 Was cheapest I could find . All the other R3 owners I know pay minimum £ 180 .
At least I will get it fitted for free ! :)
Nah, your Au$260 is a great price for an Exedra Max from a retailer especially fitted. I haven't seen better here. I was very surprised my local dealer only charged me Au$45 to remove and refit rear wheel and fit the Exedra I took to them that I purchased privately from the forum member. Not sure I could expect the same next time even though they do not have to remove my exhaust cans to get to the axle.

I'm sorry for you guys, it's BS how much you guys pay for rubbers!

Here are some pics of how my Exedra Max is coping with my apparently aggresive riding style:

It's front and rear edge of the same groove. You can see "slight" cupping behavior but it's not at all bad considering what this tire has dealt with and how hard I've been punishing it for the it's first 700 miles. It's wearing great!!

Here's my Cobra front after about 2500 miles:

Also coping pretty well. You can see minimal cupping and it's still smooth and grippy as hell, totally confidence inspiring using these two together and very very good grip.

LMAO.

Hoping I can get through the year on these two and put on fresh ones for next year. I'll try to remember to snap some pics front and back every 500-1000 miles when she's back from Bob.

Thanks for that Clav . It was mainly your endorsement in a previous thread convinced me to try the combo ! As a rule , I tend to shy from changing what is working well for me and altho no complaints from the Cobras , I can see the merit in the mix n match !
I still have a couple of good runs left in my rear Cobra , so gonna get my money's worth and then post back when I have made the swap !

Nat - The E-max really does work - though BE CAUTIOUS when its still cold.

I find I can get mine to let go in the twisties and roundabouts with consummate ease unless the ambient temps are well over 30°C .
You can hear the cars behind slam on the brakes when you drift a "dressed" R3.
Well it's Spain and we all have to pretend we are Marc Marquez - No honest! - it's in the residency permit.

Rob - some nice feathering there. Problem here with Cobras is they "ball off" with the heat and road surfaces. Metz's worse still.
