Handlebar risers

+1 on the Rivco. I'd like to get another inch for it to be perfect but they did help tremendously, big difference. I did have to go with longer brake lines with my classic bars (on a standard bike).
Is that the only thing that has to be changed when using the classic bars on a standard with Rivco risers? I'm asking because I was debating trying the classic bars to move the grips even further back in the future.

HellFire,
yea that's all you need to replace.
But you will have to reroute your other cables.
I least I had to.
Got my new brake lines made at an auto brake place.
One thing I figured out, after trying to bleed them for hours,
they put a "T" in the joint where the lines meet.
DO NOT let them do that to you, make em use a "Y" so it'll bleed easier.
Trust me on this one....

So did you have them make the whole Y brake line in one piece, or does it come apart at the V??
never had anything custom made that length, was it expensive for the braided brake line?

I detoured the other cables, they are tight but fit ok. I went with new brake lines from Spiegler, just ask for R3 +X inches, I originally went with +3 but should have gone longer, I'd say +5 should be comfortable.

mine just screw into a brass "T" and it works, and was cheaper.
a brass "Y" is the ticket.
I think I had them add 4" from the "T" up.
They were about $30.00.
But that's for braided steel,
all 3 pieces and the pain in the butt "T".

I bought a set of Rivco's, and I am sorry I waited as long as I did, cheap basta_ _ that I am. Cured so many long haul problems like shoulder and back pain. Worth every cent plus some but I bought a used set, very pleased.

Has anyone tried the Rizamo Risers? I am looking for something with 1" hight and 1" pullback. Are there any other options other than the Rivco?
