Great to see a car with a few stone chips it shows that the owner actually drives them to shows, not a trailer queen that usually clean up all trophies then back on the trailer

A few of our clubs cars at Coffs Harbour on a recent Run all driven to the event
Stone chips? I want to see rust.

Don't seem to matter where it is .. wack a day-glow vest onto some dill and they turn into ***cin rent-a-cops. Donny and I just gunned it round the line of cars queuing to get in .

Bruce how's this for rust, for our oversees mates who wanted to know what a Holden was this is the first model 1948 Holden utility (pick up in the US) actually this ute is still in salvageable condition ,just needs a rub over with a damp cloth.:sneaky:

Good steel those things were made from , split screen be a FX isn't it ? .. Hit a roo in my 1968 F1OO out the back of Toowoomba 20 years ago. Couldn't believe how it caved in the front of the drivers side front guard .. F-Trucks had pretty solid guards and were made of good steel back in them days too. ***cin roo shook it's head and hopped away.

You Aussies have more fun than us o_O
That's what happens when we spend too much time on the internet..;) I sold my Camaro and an old restoration Vette a few years ago but every Thursday night weather permiting we would all meet down by the water front for a BQ and had a blast. They still all meet but i'm still playing catch up from the economy crash. It hurt me big time.

That's how they should look. Get the mechanical side sorted and drive it. Someone will end up getting it and putting shiny paint on it and then they'll have to look after it. Worry about stone chips, wash and polish keep it in a shed. All more work. When it looks perfect the way it is.
