Warp, your Hombre posts seem so childish.
I know you have a history, but can't you let it go?
I don't see Hombre bashing you, but I do look foward to his posts regarding his LSR bike.
IMHO, he's the smarter man for taking his bike off the road. Speeds over 150 on any road, in stock configuration is an accident waiting to happen.

Yes he has not done any bashing in this thread for sure. (but has on many occasions so I feel I have earned the right to show him the same respect) so other then that it does not change the facts he did 280 (very impressive) right before maxton that is for sure. And in order to do more it will have to run first. As for chopping it up so it is not a Rocket or streetable well thats his choice.
you are right about one thing and that is it is not on the road !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for blowing up well that was a rumor coming from the shop he had working on it. (It caught on fire) but from seeing the parts he had on sale

an noticing the fire retardant on them it pretty much look like the rumor was not a lie!

Your "proof" completely fails a sniff test. In fact, it stinks.

That photo was posted in this Forum by Hombre in May 2011, clearly as a joke. In the one year since then, Warp9.9 is the only person to claim that what is obviously road dust, is "fire retardant". I see no melted wires. No burnt plastic. No evidence of an explosion. Anyone else?

Why would a man start such a blatantly false rumor as Warp9.9 has clearly done? It can only be that he suffers from a severe inferiority complex. Or is in some way jealous of Hombre and his LSR racing. Posting false internet rumors are the actions of a small man, a weakling, a coward. Who would not agree? Now I understand what Hombre means by Dork9.9.

I'm a member of ECTA. Rather than post lies about Hombre; who actually has an LSR license, has raced, and is clearly pursuing his passion building his R3 race bike: why does Warp9.9 not come racing himself?

Let them go for it. It's a little more than handbags at the moment but still only a pissing contest. Sort of spices things up. Anyone can stop reading when it gets too boring and I'm sure they'll stop before it gets too nasty. Always have before.

Not to take sides in this because i really couldn't care less, but.

I can't tell what the white powder is .

If a bike were to catch fire during a dyno run any descent shop would have a fire extinguisher handy and possibly even some one standing by as a fire guard.

The fire would most likely be fuel burning and a quick response from the fire guard would extinguish the frames before there was any damage the the wires or plastic parts.

Just my guess since I wasn't there. Could be that when a bike catches fire during a dyno run everyone goes to lunch. :D

I give credit where credit is do. That being said Hombre did pull a skosh under 175 mph at maxton and at the time that seemed great. But Now that there are plenty streetable Carpenter Silverbacks out there that will pull over 175 mph in 4th gear naturally aspirated to boot. I do not see what the big deal is anymore.

As for the parts being covered with road dust I say Bull poo poo as Hombre would not let his bike get so dirty. It is more like a fire sale and anyone with fire fighting background knows the looks of dry chemical fire retardent.
You can call yourself Vortex, 8secR3, JGazonas (someones dearly departed lady who died of cancer) RWA, or which you seem to like to type like Hombre.
I persenally think Kotex is more fitting seens how you come on the site ragging like a little dziwka.

As for the rest of your malarky in order to race or put up horse power numbers ones bike has to be running first. So lets work on that before you get into too much bench racing.

.....Whatever guys. I really like what BOTH of you have done with these bikes. Very clever and adroit. Not many among us would attempt the same...I certainly would not...but then, I'm not nearly as in love with this motorcycle as you chaps obviously are. Well and truly done.

As an aside, has anyone heard or read about the Air Ram project that Art was involved with over at Carpenter? I don't generally visit the .com site, or any biker sites much anymore, so any postings over there are of no use. I do like the look of the prototype. It would very appealing in Carbon Fiber. Anyone???
