**** went 20 miles out of my way missing two exits and now I have to stop and defog my visor treatment because of cold weather.
going to take going to take a little bit longer.

feet getting a little colder had to warm up my hand on the exhaust manifold.

can't wait for the colder weather

Finally made it to Lincoln NE.
Oddly enough at 4:20 am.
Feet are cold.
Still not wearing the wind suit yet. Won't help my feet anyway.

Really low traffic. Not tired yet.
Letting my feet warm up for a little while.
Keeping speed around 75.

Varying mpg between 30 and 40 depending on how much time I spend at 80mph.

Hopefully I'll find a hardee's after 6am.
Came across a fresh deer roadkill.

Glad I was 20 minutes delayed, could have been me.
Thank you Lord.
Haven't seen but 2 Louisiana cops, 2 Arkansas cops.
I'm loving it and thanking for it.

Appreciate any pics taken along the way. I know when I crossed Canada a couple of years ago, the fellows (especially the Aussies) really appreciated the views posted. It's the only time they really can see what we see in our home countries apart from looking in a travel mag.

Keep up the reports.

Stay warm/safe and have fun.

So I took the time to track the intended destinations you stated in your first posts on Google Maps as far as Casper.

That's quite the journey. Is Casper the final destination? Driving right back?

Exit exit 271 rest area I had to make a couple of stops after only 60 miles on each tank to warm feet but I think I might still be on schedule.

It's much warmer now than it was last night for a couple of hours
