I am a newbie, and still learning, so with that said, are these any good? I see them on a lot of Rockets on here. Thanks.

GIPro ATRE G2 gear indicator by HealTech Electronics Ltd.

I have the GIPro ATRE but no longer use the derestricing function as I put a different tune on my ECU as others have recommended. I made a case for it thus that is why I have stuck with it. A little more work to install, larger readout and it doesn't tie up my OBD connector. Also, I think it responds a little quicker...so I have been told.

I let the first one go with my totaled Rocket. I wasn' going to buy another but over time decided to do so. It Looked they were closing them out as they cut the price on what they had left. As I recall it went for about $99 on the closeout.

When I first bought my R3 about 9 years ago, I organized a group buy for the GIPro for members of this and another owners' site - about 100 takers all together.

What the fellas' here say is right on. ATRE is unnecessary for you due to later model year improvements from the factory and Tune ECU.

The gearing on our big girls will take some getting used to for some, so, if you count yourself among that group or if you are a gadget hound, Landstar, I'd recommend going with this unit, their newest model; GIpro X-type G2 gear indicator by HealTech Electronics Ltd.

I’ve got one on my Roadster.fitted in my tank.... it is s lot easier to open the butterflies using it

I find the gear indicator function handy on the Touring, and have one installed for that purpose alone.
This is off subject, you were right about this shop, www.mrpmotorsports.com I read a post of your's, this guy does it all Tune ECU and dyno, and been doing it for years, he talked to me for a long time. $900.00 Commander V and Tune ECU, and Dyno

There are two different GiPro. The one with ATRE funcion is NOT OBD connected and as pointed out you can do far more with TuneECU than ATRE does.

If you want the gear display (I did) then the question is HOW BIG you want the numbers.
The version with ATRE has bigger numbers. And fewer colour options.
But nobody says you can't have BIG numbers and just not use the ATRE.

The ATRE version is a bit of a PITA to fit ime. The non-ATRE is just plug and play.

The ATRE G2 is actually the smaller form factor. I think the original large ATRE version is discontinued and supplied only until stock lasts. I use G2 only as gear indicator and works as it should. Good product.
