Hi folks, I have to replace this breather. The dome has snapped off and been lost. Tbh I don't even know if it's functional. Anyway, as I understand it, it just pulls out? I'm interested in the size of the hole, as there are plenty to choose from instead of rip-off Triumph. Does anyone know?

Here you go, i didnt call to check availability. If this breather cap is not available just measure and check other manufacturers motorcycles shaft driven that use a differential like ours. This is hermys, call Alex👍

Ta, I have all that info. Yeah, I can measure it once pulled. Was asking if someone knew the size, who had already done this. No worries.

i remember trying to pull one of those w/o success
i have a bad final drive i will try to remove the breather

What happened? You just crushed it? I've not done one on any bike.
it has been a long time since i tried i am thinking that i was going to distort the cap and i quit.
but i can try again
may be i thought that it was plastic and just quit when i found out it was metal
one more try.

I'll let you know. I'm doing it next month. Here's the thing: when you are committed, it will ruin it for sure. Will the new one push in OK I'm also thinking. I'll just go for it. Drill out if need be. There are loads of vents out there to choose from.
