Looking like all go for the lounge delivery next Thursday. Admin chick i spoke knew all about our donation and reckons staff in the ward are all excited ... f#ck me the old lounges must be pretty rooted. Reckon we'll have about $140 left over after the engraving is paid for. I was thinking we could get that photo of Binnsy giving the thumbs up, one taken down the Gold Coast .... add that " riding ahead of the pack" quote to it and get one hung on the wall at The Bearded Dragon and another one at Cunungara Pub. What do you blokes reckon ?? Those would have been the pubs he stopped for a coldie when he was teararsing around his beloved Mt Tamborine.

just wish I could be there to see their faces, but just the thought of them being excited about it is plenty... that and picture of you handing over the clock to the nurse manager of the Ward with the lounges in back ground would be awesome and definatly a great idea of the pictures at his fav watering holes

Thank you so much for organizing all this.

I'm sorry for the lack of communication but at least I can officially say I now own the rocket with Dads personalized plates

I won't be able to make it on the 13th as between work and my project management course Thursday nights I won't even get home until 10pm.

The wording for the plaque is perfect and I am proud to say that you are all truly wonderful people.

Good choice of pubs tc both nice country pubs where you can kick back relax and have a beer or three

Lounges were delivered to the Palative Care Unit yesterday. Tekcor brought them there in his very impessive F250. All the Staff from the Unit were there , they were so appreciative ... was pretty moving actually. Told us that they often get cards and flowers or chocolates from the families of those they care for. The offer we made to replace their old lounges could not have come at a better time it seems. There old ones were only recently slashed up and had graffiti written over them with felt pens. Wish all the blokes that chipped in to pay for the lounges could have been there just to see how grateful the Staff all were. Margaret thinks you all are "awesome"... Poor Tekcor had to sit on the lounges with all them nurses for a photo shoot. The clock turned out great and will be hung by Maintanence team in the next few days . Will post the photos i have over the weekend , Catherine has been going flat-tack at work so we can leave for WA sunday .. let her chill for a day before i hit her up to post pics.... Thankyou to all that helped to make this happen , just like Margaret i reckon you're all pretty f#ckin awesome as well
